That is not a given. That attitude does lot of damage! I got "cocky" myself as I never had to study for math. I can see what a²b+b³ = c²b looks like(Pythag. in 3D), but my intuition for the "magic" functions sin, cos, tan was null and void and tripped me for a long time.
The intuition only gets you so far. You NEED the correct premises to adapt your perspective, to adapt your view to be correct from all angles.
There are pros and cons of having ADHD. One of the cons is you learn a lot slower.

It is not generally taught that everything is build from ground up. Many things start to look like "magic" as the closure is missing.
It is no coincidence that some people can't learn this way and have conflicts in their mind.
Some people simply need more connections and learn slower. They need closure if they are to be functional in society.
The only working solution to "cure" your self without medicine is to quit school and learn on your own....

Well here is a test for the "ADHD" in the opposite direction.
A) Do you have initiative in work(not have to be told everything).
B) Do you do your own objective research or just quote others?
C) Do conflicting truths never bother you?
D) Do conflicting perspectives not confuse you?
E) Does the saying "exception makes the rule" hold true even in mathematics and logic to you?
Comon people, maybe there is no "ADHD". Maybe some people just need more closure to be more "efficient".

so let me get this straight, you want an ADHD person to focus and give examples of past activities? you are as dumb as this vid suggests. if this is what passes for medical research today then we are all in real trouble#quack

Is this for real? This has to be a wind up.
Anyone who takes this serious needs their head looking at for real!

Their are also many positive attributes to ADHD'ers....for one....an ADHD'er is 300 times more likley to become extreamly wealthy than a regular person....we are very charasmatic people, highly energetic and at times can be very enthusiastic about whatever topic....if your struggling in your current carrer path, mabey try the sales industry or network marketing, or if you know what your doing, go in business for yourself...you never know
